Q2 2024 Performance of Top 5 iOS Pair Puzzle Apps in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the iOS Pair Puzzle category showed varied performances among the top apps. Sensor Tower's analysis gives us a closer glimpse into the trends for these engaging puzzle games.

Match Factory!, developed by Peak Games, witnessed a fluctuating revenue trend with a peak in early May at around $6.5K before settling to approximately $6K by the end of June. Downloads saw a gradual decline from 1.2K in the first week of April to 360 in the last week of June, while weekly active users hovered around the 5K mark, ending the quarter with about 5K active users.

Triple Match 3D by Boombox Games LTD experienced a decrease in revenue from $4.4K to around $3K, while downloads peaked in late May at 329 before descending to 231 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 3.2K throughout the quarter.

For Tile Busters: Match 3 Tiles from Spyke Games, revenue trended downwards from approximately $2.3K to just over $1K. Downloads remained low, with a slight increase to 97 in late May but ending the quarter at 27. Weekly active users saw a slight uptick in late May with 3.3K but dropped to 3K by June's end.

Voodoo's Block Jam 3D showed a revenue dip from $1.8K to $1.5K. Downloads experienced a notable spike in late April at 739 but fell to 151 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users started at approximately 1.3K and saw a peak at 2.1K in late April, eventually stabilizing to 1.6K.

Lastly, Zen Match - Relaxing Puzzle by Moon Active saw revenue start at around $1.8K, with a decline to $1.2K, and a slight recovery to $1.2K by June's end. Downloads peaked at 164 in mid-April but dropped to 97 in the last week of June. Active users showed growth in mid-April to 2.3K but concluded the quarter with a slight increase to 2K.
